The Mercedes-Benz AMG GT3 is a race car that succeeds to the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3. It has a M159 6,208 cc V8 naturally aspirated engine which was used in its predecessor and it has a large carbon-fiber-reinforced polymer to decrease the vehicle's weight to under 1,300 kg (2,900 lb) to comply with FIA regulations for races.
This car raced in the 2016 24 Hours of Nürburgring and it claimed a 1-2-3-4 and 6 victory.
